Egg Sammich – Redneck Nutrition

There’s nothing better than a good ole egg sammich. But cooking that egg in a bunch of butter isn’t in style anymore. We are going to change up just a thing or two so you can have a healthier version of the thing you love so much. And trust me, it will make you feel way mo betta than having all that butter weigh you down. xo


2 large eggs Dash of garlic salt Dash of basil 1 tsp sliced green olives 1 slice of bread 1 slice of cheese 1 tbsp coconut oil


Heat coconut oil in a skillet on medium heat. Meanwhile, crack your eggs in a small bowl. Add garlic salt, basil, & olives to the bowl with eggs. Stir gently. Swish around the melted coconut oil in skillet for an even coating. Pour egg mixture on one side of the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes then flip. Place one slice of bread on the empty side of the skillet for 1-2 minutes then flip. Add slice of cheese to the top of the bread and cook for 1-2 minutes. Cook egg to desired hardness. Place the egg on top of bread with cheese. Plate that bad boy up and get it in your belly.
